Why is the cozy square and where are the holes for the handle and spout? Long a fan of the tea cozy to keep my pot of tea warm - I was frustrated by the fussy nature of cozies that need to be tied on, get dripped on and stained the first (and every) time I'd use them. The half moon shape is less fussy but didn't always cover my pots completely - letting the pot cool more quickly than I liked. So - being the problem solver that I am - I went to work on a less fussy, more effective design. The result is the square shape that completely covers the pot, sits flat on the table and folds flat to store when not in use. Because I pull the cozy off to pour the tea, the cozy doesn't stain - so I made it reversible.
Constructed of the finest 100% cotton fabrics and two layers of thermal fleece.
