Each item we create is the result of careful thought about every aspect of the design, the materials, ease of use and care as well as value to the user. We like to think of our designs as a twist on tradition - we hope you enjoy the updated look, feel and functionality of our original designs.
Manufacturing
Where are the original items from OneMark Creations manufactured? The original designs of OneMark Creations are handcrafted in a beautiful studio near our home in Beaverton, Oregon. Every item has been designed by Deb Messina, Owner / Designer of OneMark Creations.
Tea Travel Wallets
Why do I need a tea travel wallet? Have you ever tucked a tea bag or two in your pocket / purse or brief case - it's usually not so appetizing when you pull it out to enjoy it. Do you really enjoy loose leaf tea but leave it at home because it's too much of a hassle to use when you are away from home? We love our tea and we found this frustrating - so we designed some solutions - Tea Bag Travel Wallet and a Loose Leaf Tea Travel Wallet. Now we (and you) can enjoy any type of tea we want - anywhere we want. These are the perfect gift for the tea lover on the go.
Tea Cozies
Why is this tea cozy square? The functionally elegant square shape of this tea cozy allows it to sit flat on the table, completely surrounding the pot - including the spout and the handle - keeping the teapot hot and the tea ready to enjoy for hours. This beautiful cozy is also completely reversible allowing the user to enjoy two coordinating looks with the same tea cozy.Where are the openings for the spout and the handle? We have found that the openings for the handle and spout found in many more traditional cozy designs allow heat to escape. The opening for the spout - while convenient for pouring - allows all those drips to stain the cozy. We prefer a really hot pot of tea and a clean cozy - so we have eliminated the openings.
How do I choose the right size cozy for my teapot? We offer tea cozies in three sizes to fit all of your teapots. Check out our measurement chart to see which cozy would best fit your pot. If you have a teapot that is an unusual size - we are happy to make a custom size cozy for you.
French Press Cozies
Why is this cozy square? Add the leaves or grounds as usual, fill the press with the just boiled water and place the plunger assembly into the press with the plunger in the up position. Place the cozy on top of the plunger (it's not heavy enough to make the plunger go down but it will keep the heat in while you are steeping brewing). When your coffee or tea has reached the strength you are looking for - push the plunger down. Keeping the cozy on the press will keep you coffee or tee hot enough to enjoy for hours.How do I choose the right size cozy for my press? We offer cozies in three sizes to fit the press you have. Appliance Covers
Why would I use an appliance cover? Appliance covers are designed to keep the dust and other particles that fly in the air in your kitchen - off of your countertop appliances so they will be clean and ready to go when you are inspired to use them. We offer a line of covers for your Stand Mixer, Toaster and Blender that are not only effective at keeping the dust off your countertop appliance - they look good doing it.
Are the appliance covers reversible? Yes - every appliace cover is completely reversible. Each appliance cover normally has a solid color on the inside that coordinates with the fabric selected for the outside of the cover. Other fabric options are available - just ask.
